Card magic is great and most times easy to perform if you know the basic sieghts to do.
When performing card magic in the real world you don't want to cause suspicion. So I suggest that you use a regular deck of cards. Having the latest decks of cards are great and fun but lets face it, in the real world they are not very practical for use.
If you want the best reaction to your magic, using a deck of cards that already looks like there is something up doesn't fly to well with the spectators.
There are a ton of decks out there that look normal and are just as amazing as the “Ghost Deck”. Everything you can do with the fancy decks, you can do with a regular deck.
Trust me when I say, You get a much bigger reaction when the audience is not suspicious.

If you have an imagination, you can use th thumb tip. I use the thumb tip for just about every tick I perform to add a surprise ending to a trick or too do the same trick twice with a different ending.
